About Nicole

Nicole Madigan is an experienced journalist, writer and communications specialist, with more than ten years in the media and communications industry.

Her work has been published in numerous national and international magazines and newspapers including Madison, Practical Parenting, BRW, Cleo, Notebook, The Courier Mail, The Australian, Sunday Life, The Sunday Mail, The Walkley Magazine, bMag, Bide Magazine, Two Words Magazine (USA), MiNDFOOD, Latte, City News and Quest Newspapers.

She was a contributing author to literary project, The Modern Woman's Anthology and regularly writes articles, opinion pieces and editorials for online publications, including Kidspot, Women's Agenda, The Hoopla, Mouth of Mums and The Punch.

Nicole's communications consultancy Stella Communications provides a range of services including copywriting, editing, proof-reading, project management, website development, newsletters, corporate communications, PR and social media management.

Her clients have included global street wear brand Unit, Red Bull Queensland, Brisbane Marketing, Ripple Massage, fashion designer Kate Anderson, designer sleepwear brand Frankie and Nicole, among others.

Prior to launching Stella Communications, Nicole spent several years as a print journalist with News Limited, writing for a variety of newspapers and magazines. Following this, she was an on-air reporter and presenter with the Nine Network, filing stories for Brisbane magazine program Extra, lifestyle show Weekend Extra and National Nine News.

Nicole is also a proud Ambassador for Miracle Babies Foundation, which supports families of sick and premature babies. She also supports the Cure For Life Foundation and the Janelle's Miracle Foundation.

Nicole has a Bachelor of Business Communications (Marketing), a Graduate Certificate in Business and is a current MBA student.
